I hate to sound hokey, but there are people with good energy and people with bad energy. In other words, I feel good around some people and not good around other people.
I went into a store the other day. Cute store as so many of them are in the west village. I won't name names. But I was excited to find a cool new store. Alas. As I was walking out of the store, in came a woman with a dog. I thought a customer.
Nope. Apparently the owner. Who went into the back and started spewing madness at her servants. Cursing. Raised voice. Tried to hide it for a moment, but then clearly could not control herself. A stone had fallen out of ring. The sky was clearly falling.
Normally I would say people have a bad day. But this was unacceptable behavior. Unacceptable because she was treating other people terribly. I felt a very bad karma in her store. Bad, bad energy.
I don't care how cute her store is and how stylish her things are. I will never step foot back in that store.
