Gorgeous Weather

The weather has been gorgeous.  Sunny and in the 70's during the day.  Perfect for wandering around the neighborhood.  I had a couple of friends over on Saturday night and we ventured out for dinner in the neighborhood.  We tried to stop by The Little Owl, but that is small and was impossible to get into.  (I particularly like The Little Owl's website because their theme song is Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons's "Who Loves You".  However, I find it very difficult to manipulate flipping the pages. . . )

We teetered down to Commerce Street which is sort of corner street that looks like you might be in Europe somewhere.  Fittingly, there is a restaurant called Commerce on the corner.  Brownstones surround the restaurant.  Trees line the street and bikes with flowers on the handlebars are tied up to a tree.  Cobblestone streets.  When I am walking in the neighborhood, I do everything I can do avoid the block of Christopher Street on which the Path train lets out.  It's just not the prettiest street.

Despite the terrific weather, Bridgette is hunkering down for the inevitable inclement weather. . .
