The Evaluation

At the end of May, I posted about wanting to volunteer.  I found out about the Good Dog Foundation organization which trains dogs to do therapy work.  I filled out an application for Bridgette.

Bridgette passed the application phase and today she is going to be evaluated in person.  In dogson.  People who work in the organization will see if she has the temperament to be a therapy dog.

I am very excited as this is volunteer work I would very much love to do and to be able to do it with one of my dogs.  If she is not suitable, you know who is next up.  Oscar. . .  Actually, I will have him evaluated as well whether she works out or not.  I would like to have them both trained as therapy dogs.  They both already bring so much brightness into the world, I would love for them to do it for people in need.
